It is really good news and the 132 service to The Trafford Centre frequency is being doubled to one every 30 minutes LINK

The inroduction of the new bus from Wigan to the Middlebrook Retail Park in Bolton and the doubling of buses to the Trafford Centre is saying a lot about the standard of shopping in Wigan.

So is that why they have done it then, because of crap shopping in Wigan ?

The shops at Middlebrook, you can find the same shops at Robin Retail Park.

The old 32 service to Manchester, which I used to use was every 30 minutes, and it was a bloody good service too, it was an express service, and it didn't go around every housing estate in Greater Manchester on a four hour journey, like the 33 service used to do, it went straight to Manchester via Hingley, Atherton, Tyldesley, Boothstown, Salford Crescent and into Manchester.
The 132 service replaced the 32 service only going as far as the Trafford Centre.

More shops at Middlebrook than Robin Park together with a better shopping atmosphere and a better designed laid out car park may be the reasons that Wigan people prefer to go there.

Yes, Middlebrook is bigger than Robin Park, with a few extra stores, but 'basically' there are the same stores in both locations, and I would put it too yoo Mr Codger, that Wiganers will be visiting Middlebrook, because Robin Retail Park is 'chocka' and they can't find anywhere to park, it's 'heaving' folk are 'on top of one another' it's too busy
