Help
Does anyone know how to get a real live person to answer simple questions. Won’t be long before the robots take over every thing.

I-spy agree with you about Sky. I had to phone them this morning and 1st the robotic voice asks are you the account holder yes or no 3 times I was asked this? Then you are asked for a security question then you join the queue. Then once you are connected the operator asked for your date of birth or your E-mail address. Then they will try to sort out your problem

Ice pie, that is a massive massive challenge because, there is a higher than expected demand for it and, All of our agents are busy right now, to speed things up go to www.youronaroundabout,com and select, frequently asked questions or ,keep on holding, here's a nice tune,,,,,,,

It's all this AI nonsense we were chatting about a couple of months ago.
It's the same if I try to contact my surgery for something, but I've got cute over the last year or so. I wait until about 15 minutes before they close and then I ring. I'm usually two in the queue at that time, so not too bad.
Not as easy though if the phone lines are open 24 hours a day.

Like Tom says sometimes you can be on the phone when a place just opens and still have to wait 15-30 minutes to get a reply Someone is making a fortune when you are sat listening to the music. I have made my breakfast sometimes before I have been connected and once have got into the car and drove to an office in Wigan with the phone on Bluetooth in the car and was still waiting for an answer when I walked into the office

Things are not what thay used to be when now making a telephone call to any company and wanting to speak to a human being.
Now all all number crunching, listening to rubbish music and then when you get to speak to a human being it is a call centre in Asia where in some cases the human being speaking poor English and be anything but helpful!
And now in many cases, companies no longer showing any postal or email address on a their website and if there is a email address given, the postmaster sending back a message saying it is not a correct email address.
It's called progress when in reality, it is anything but progress!
