I haven't, Tom. I only commented on their smug faces in the photo. As you know, I never get into disputes or conversation about politics as there's no point, as I've said before, but nothing surprises me anymore.

I've never voted for any of 'em in my life because I learned a long time ago that there's no difference between any of them as they're all only out for themselves, and don't give a rat's behind about any of us, and that's why I don't get involved. Nuff said.

Last year we got £500; some years before that it was £200; and before then there was nothing at all. I'm dreading it as well, but why worry about something we can do nothing about? They're a law unto themselves and, I think it was Tonker that said somewhere, that many elderly people will have a choice of heating or eating. They don't care if the hospitals fill up with old folk malnourished or half frozen to death, so why would I personally give them a thought at voting time? No chance at all.

I've only just reached pension age, so I won't know what I've missed!
Well, I can imagine I'll have to tighten my belt and eat sugar butties so I can have the heating on.
Either that or bugger off to Spain where it's a bit warmer!

Not just smug looks, but Starmer rubbing his hands together and more than likely saying to Angela and Rachel, "If they think ending the heating allowance is hard, they ain't seen anything yet"

I wrote some stories a long while ago about a daft old man who was given the task to paint a neighbour's porch over his front door but, as he couldn't read much, he painted the poor chap's bright red Porsche in high quality white gloss paint - even the windows!

Hit back fellow OAP's. They take your heating allowance. Deprive them of the thieving TV tax. Don't pay the licence fee ..you claw back half of what they have taken. Also cancel all charity subscriptions . .Charity begins at home. The voices of charity organisations is far louder by than that of Joe Public..

TV licence was revoked by the torys even tho it was in their manifesto to keep it .

Update ;
Wigan Warriors raffle - gone
Air Ambulance - gone
Cats Protection - gone
Wigan Hospice - gone
The above I have supported for nearly 30yrs...time to make my own charitable contributions which will all be family orientated. Mr Starmer...hang your head in shame ..still get the threatening letters from TV licensing...I estimate on letters alone they have wasted £30 - £40 of licence payers money in postage.

Who.... and what they are paying them... within the organisation is a disgrace. That's where the wastage is ..Sooner it is scrapped by anybody with half a brain the better...and let the freeloaders associated with this antiquated biased woke corporation seek a real job elsewhere.

freeloaders like eggbeater who has,nt done a tap for more than 20yrs . biker, labour have only been in power a month . all those you mentioned are due to the last government who systematicly drained money out of organisations to give pay days to their rich friends & hanger on,s . or have you forgot baroness mony who got £ 200 million ? .

Baroness Mone and her husband are under investigation by the police for the PPE scandal. The NHS are in the process of recovering the costs of unusable PPE supplied by companies owned by the Mone family.
How did the Tories ‘drain’ money from organisations and, more importantly, how did they pass it to their friends.
Is that men in white coats approaching?

Rio Caroni

Today, not all the rich are Tories as there are quite a few in the Labour Party and some even support the party by making large financial donations to make up for the fewer donations they now get from the trade unions!
