I used to work in a shop in Bradshawgate, close to where the camera was filming that riot.

In that film, there's Whites, Blacks and Asians all together, jeering and taunting the police.
What does that tell you?

Perhaps even look at the comments by Andy Burnham on Bolton News and many of the responses by members of the public saying it is not just about right wing facists and the yobbo element, but the way our country is going more and more downhill as a result of the open doors policy on immigration.

As a result of the far right EDF and its leader Tommy Robinson whipping up the brain dead into rioting, looting ect, they have only succeded in giving the Government, Police and the Media the means of distracting attention away from what the protests were actually about ie. the level of immigration and the failure to stop the ilegal immigrants from crossing the channel.

Over a week has passed and all we are still heaing about in the media is about the rioting and looting and who were the rioters and looters, but nothing now about the way that immigration is affecting our country or the boat people.

The failure of the Tory governments over the last 14 years is down to the leaders not being Tories..
David Cameron is a liberal by nature as are Theresa May, Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak. I’m ignoring Liz Truss because of her short tenure when PM,
A natural Tory leader would have challenged the extent of the Covid lockdown . It would have been far less severe and added far less to the country’s debt .
At the election people didn’t vote Tory because they felt let down but they didn’t want to vote Labour for historic reasons. As a percentage of the total voting electorate just over 20% voted Labour. The vote share of those voting Labour on the day was 33.7%.

And also the tories scraped into second place with just 9% more votes than the Reform party.

And despite their unpopularity, the Tories were only 4% behind Labour who finished with 411 seats in a landslide.

Hardly demorcratic and more like a Whitehall farce!

You are indeed correct about the 10% percentage difference of votes between Labour and the Tories, but if you add the combined percentage vote of the Tories to that of Reform which is a more right wing party than the Tories, it is 4% higher than what Labour got on the left.

Like I said earlier, it's all relative. You could say, "Labour got 20.8% of the available votes to Conservative's 14.3%". That looks like Labour got 6.5% more votes. Or you could say Labour got 59.3% and Conservatives got 40.7%.
Whichever way you look at it, Labour won the election.

If you look at it in seat gains, it was a gigantic swing to the Labour party.

They gained 166 seats and the tories lost 238.
That in itself speaks volumes of what the British public thought of the previous lying government.

The electorate, along with the bulk of the population, could see the need for change. But that change has turned out to be somewhat a choice between a rock or a hard place.

I neither voted for Labour ( which I have done all my life ) or the tories.
I would never vote conservative. Even if my life depended on it. Unless, if Enoch Powell was in charge.
That is how strongly I feel at the moment with the immigration situation.
