Burnham is asking for the Police PRECEPT to be raised yet again. He wants to raise over £10 million pounds to recruit 30 more police officers and do other improvements to the police force If our Precept's keep going up we will be paying more for these than our rates. Why don't the councils spend some of the money raised in fines to pay for the extra police,One bus lane alone took over £10 MILLION in fines in under 18 months. Or is the excuse the money from the fines goes to the government not the public purse. Where is a bobby when you need one and going of all the latest reports WHAT ARE THEY ALL DOING. nobody has any confidence in what they do

I agree with most of your post Peter....the revenue should be kept in local authority purse....More bobbies on the beat is the answer ..it worked for 200 yrs . .The police should be left to police like it used to be and not have the wokes and wet lettuces enforcing their demands on the force.
