I do not agree that leaving the E.U was a catastrophic mistake on te contrary if those that are charge ,in power actually pulled their finger's out and really got stuck into the issue it's the best thing that's happened to BRITAIN for hundreds of years . But when you have these mealy mouthed people like Starmer stiring things up you have to ask the question ,,,,,
DO WE WANT THIS MAN TO BE OUR NEXT P.M. ????
My response to that is NO BLOODY WAY!!!! If he cannot take the mantle up of doing what the BRITISH PEOPLE VOTED FOR ,THEN IT'S HIGH TIME HE SHOVED OFF!!!! With all his other cronies too. Yes we have a huge problem with the illegals ,but ask yourself why???? Because it suits them to have unrest then the likes of Sunak/Starmer etc can try to claim the point that we would be better off in the E.U. My response to those are ""JUST GO AWAY WRITE YOUR BOOKS PUSH OFF !!! FOR YOU ARE NOT FIT TO GOVERN .

So are yoo saying that we would have had 40 new hospitals by now, if we had stopped in the EU ?

Throughout the Brexit thing, the referendum debate, the Brexit deal negotiations, the thing which the EU could not get away from, was that the loss of British trade, would cause a lot of harm to the EU, because EU bussinesses which relied on the UK for their trade, would not be able to find new markets to make up for the loss of the British market, and a lot of people seemed to think that Brexit would mean the loss of the EU - British market, but that was never on the cards, because if there had been no Brexit deal with the EU, trade would have carried on using WTO rules, which would have meant a tariff of about 10% on imported and exported goods, not really what was wanted, but not a disaster either, but it suited both sides to have a none tariff deal, which is what was negotiated, but whereby the EU could not find new markets to make up for the theoretical loss of the British market, Britain on the other hand would have and indeed does have access to trade with the rest of the world, and so Britain now has a trade deal with the EU and can also trade with the rest of the world, so what is the problem with not being in the EU ?

Anyone or any organisation can call themselves 'Global Business Experts' and unless hard data suggest otherwise, these business experts are only expressing an 'opinion' and these same Brexit doom and gloom merchants, who are supposedly business experts, who predicated that Britain would fall off a cliff economically if we left the EU, and ever since Brexit, they have said that Britain was about to enter a severe recession, and none of those things have happened, and we have the highest economic growth in the G7.

These 'business expert' opinions are just 'remainers' - 'remoaning' about Brexit

A recession in my mind is when we have had more than two consecutive quarters of negative utility bill prices, food prices, petrol prices, energy prices interest rate prices, etc. All in all, the cost of living in general!

If that does not equate to a recession , I don't know what does?

It does not alter the fact that there is a recession in my household at the moment due to the state of the economic crisis at this current time in the UK.

It all boils down to an individuals definition of a recession. It affects some people a lot more than others

I am trying to show yoo what I know, so there is no need to be rude

As member of the EU, we were subject to trade agreements with countries who had negotiated a trade deal with the EU as a trading bloc, and all the UK needed to do was to sign a trading continuity agreement, with each of those countries, transferring the trade agreement from Britain as an EU country, to Britain as a stand alone country, so no negations were necessary, only that some of those agreements were tweaked to improve them for both countries concerned, and they were the first agreements to be sorted out.

A trade agreement with America is mentioned a lot as political ammunition, but a federal agreement with the USA is difficult to negotiate, because each US state as it's own trading rules, so what Britain is doing is making separate trading agreements with each US state, I don't think that in regard to Brexit having trade agreements is a problem, there are plenty of them, but here have been problems in the nuts and bolts of certain agreements, as in the fishing agreement with the EU is not well thought of, but with changes on such a massive scale over a relatively short period of time, yoo cannot expect everything to be honky dreary can yoo, there going to be some bumps in the road.

The big disappointment with Brexit, is the lack of control of our borders, with us remaining in the ECHR, and the excuse that it is not part of the EU just does not wash with folk, we are a sovereign nation and we should act as such, and that is why Nigel Farage has said he thinks 'that' part of Brexit has been a failure, not the whole of Brexit, which Whupsy tries to twist his comments around into.

Perhaps, it is the low pay of the minimum wage intoduced by the well paid politicians in Parliament that has created the idea of not working for a living and having immigrants to do the mundane jobs on factory conveyor lines, gathering food in farmers fields, delivering parcels and the essencial social care jobs.
