Platty , Rule one in hedgehog parenting, never pick a healthy hog up, As for telling what sex is it, Even the experts have trouble there, The only real way is to watch them mating, I have named its parents, Alice and Ben and I can see the difference in their persona , When feeding the hog ( Ben) in a more aggressive hog and digs into the gravel and really clears all the insects and grubs , Alice the ( sow) is more petite,
I've read that The hoglets move on as soon as able to find food so, that may be the only time We will be ungraced with its presence ,

I cant see what bait you have taken Baz and given that the only person I have acknowledged in thread is yourself perhaps you could tell me exactly what "bait" I have taken?

The clapping seals seem to find the situation amusing but because they have me on ignore there is no point asking them for an explanation

Surely they're not trying to hound people off this site in order to close it down? People wouldn't be that mean, would they?

But you do Tom and its why you and the other clappers keep inviting them

However if you really don't wont my comments the answer is simple enough. just ignore them.

Then you wont have to keep recycling the same old same old in an attempt to try and get the last word

Just a quick FYI Tom....

There is already a rule in place with regard to provoking others. If all of a sudden you want to take a moral stand can I suggest you start abiding by it

Plummy: In today's paper there is a list of the 5 winners and losers in the heatwave and Hedgehogs come first. The other four are swifts, beech trees, puffins and bilberry bumblebees.
The hedgehog because it can get rapidly dehydrated and lots have been handed over to hedgehog rescue centres during the recent heatwave.

Are you putting water out? I think TTS had a hedgehog, might have been Tonks, but I told one of them to put water out.
