HINDLEY COUNCIL OFFICES ?

I was driving past the old Hindley Council offices today i saw a nurse going in with several other people and just thought " I wonder is it still used for council purpose's or what ," I did hear that there is a police station there too ??? When i lived up Hindley Green i used to pay our rates there many moon's ago ,then it was also housing and works dept just curious that's all!!
Does anyone know it's use ?????

GB... its used by social services/social workers... my niece works there.. nowt to do with the council anymore.

Social Workers work for the Council.

yes angel.... I meant the council as we all know it dont work from that building any more.
