Come on who's going to defend the idiot now

Started by: bluesfan (1638)

Well, what a shambolic display by our Prime Minister today, rambling on about Peppa Pig oh dear. And yet again hammering the north with his latest care reforms. If you voted for this shower because they would stop immigration hang you head in shame, they failed on that too!

He's uncomfortable talking, he likes being the big kid sitting in a tractor or knocking a nail with a hammer in full high vis yellow jacket, hard hat and goggles, he's a bumbling baffoon and , I like him , the Tory's are always going to shaft us so , Until The , So called labour Party get a decent leader, I cannot vote Tory but, I hoped Boris got in and, he did, he got us out of Euro and , I'm still happy with that and, he got us vaccines and rolled them out, which has helped get us back to, some kind of normal, To answer your question, whos going to defend him,
He's still the best we can hope for,

, Would you want Karmer in ??

Tom

Well I must admit he is the car crash Prime Minister, but he puts a smile on people's faces, and he gets away with everything, he will walk away with the next General Election, but I don't like a lot of the stuff he is doing, the green stuff should have been put on hold until we are over the covid, and the green stuff should be looked at again, hydrogen might be a better alternative to electric, and it could be made from solar power in the sunnier parts of the world.

It is not good for a parliament to not have a credible opposition, but Labour seemed to go overnight, from the right wing electable party of Tony Blair, to the left wing extremist infiltrated, and unelectable party it is today.

No matter who gets in, They will have to make the correct noises about C03 reductions, just to look like they are doing summut, We all know the reality will take forever and a day and most likely will never happen but, The truth is people will rape the land untill oil, gas, coal and timber has all gone, Then the new civilisation will find other means because, that is what humans do,
You cannot stop a greedy person getting what he/she wants,

Oh how easy it is to critisise when we do not have to do the job or have to live with the desicions needing to be taken. High office carries a huge burden especially taking into consideration the past 20 months or so. I wouldn't want to be in those shoes.

Berylh,
Agree with you 100% but from afar he does seem to have lost the plot. He does resemble a bumbling idiot. No leader in the world seems to have handled the Covid crisis well. Riots all over the world.

Agreed broady. Again!!
Surely the tories have someone in their midst who would restore a bit of respect to this country.
Johnson is a liability.

Isn't it time we moved away from the old school tie brigade.... Many of our previous PM's and ministers originate from privileged and rich backgrounds... Surely there must be someone out there who could fulfill the post... But would the heirachy allow a lowly Peon or Pleb to succeed in the role.... I doubt it..... But come the Revolution.....

Have you got Britbox ?

Because they are now streaming a superb political series from 1988, which is called a 'A Very British Coup' which is set 10yrs into the then future, when a left wing Labour Government is elected, and the shock to the political system it causes, and when that was made it was during the cold war, and one of the manifesto pledges of the new Labour Government, is to rid the UK of nuclear weapons, so the new Prime Minister 'Harry Perkins', orders the Americans, to remove all of their bases from UK soil, and the powers that be are not too chuffed about that.

It is a brilliant series, with a twist at the end, which was never explained.

Wasn’t David Lloyd George from a humble background. Neither tory nor labour, the instigator of the welfare state and by all accounts a colourful character.

If you haven’t already seen it, last week Lindsey Hoyle the Speaker told the Prime Minister “you might be the Prime Minister of this country but this my house so be quiet and sit down”. Brilliant.
