All Creatures Great and Small
Brilliant Television, enjoyed every episode and it was the last one yesterday evening, back at Christmas. They must be up to 1938 in the last episode as Chamberlain was on the wireless with his "I have returned from Germany with peace for our time".

I used to like the original show, but haven’t watched any of the new version. Might do soon, see what I’ve been missing.
Series 2 is available on - My5.

Back in the day I read all of the books by James Heriot, and I enjoyed them immensely, but the original TV series to me was crap.

There is a pattern here.
My mind goes back some ten years ago to a cold Friday night.
A lot of Pernod was drunk and comments similar to these were made by an alleged ex-Sgt Major.
The net has closed considerably tonight. With great 'effect'.
