Brainwashed Brits

Having just seen yet another increase in petrol& diesel prices which is for 4th month running, is not time the great british public stopped being brainwashed by all governments. One only has to think back to another great brainwash tactic which was losing £ S D overnight we lost 140 pennies in exchange for 100 pence . It is exactly the same with regards to the fuel system ,you know that all our cars are quoted as Miles per gallon yet we have to use the decimal system again usung litres instead of gallons . I can recall when the gov used to put pennies on a gallon there was a hue and cry. Now today we are conditioned into the metric system so this latest increase in fuel prices is going to be 3 p per litre which equates to almost 13 p a gallon could you imagine putting 13 p on a gallon back in the old system the mind boggles what would have happened . So my main point is that we the brit public have become like zombies we just accept it and plod on you see its not just 3p rise its 13 p simply because we are all brought up those with cars on ( my car does so so to the gallon ) i titled this BRAINWASHING and that is exactly what we are alas.

The Chancellor has confirmed in today’s Budget that the current fuel duty freeze will be maintained for a 10th successive year.

HI first mate electric not the answer and as for a freeze on duty pray tell me why petrol /diesel is going up faster and faster ??????

In the past twelve months oil has gone from $40 per barrel to $60 per barrel. Not sure how much that impacts at the pumps but it must have some effect.

Petrol is cheaper now than it was in 1962.
