Lovely Day

To be out in the garden tidying up a bit. I'm doing a bit of exercising as well getting ready for the warmer weather and looking forward to mixing with family again.

That's exactly what I'll be doing shortly,I did a bit yesterday.

Did mine yesterday & it's looking nice & bright with plenty colour,the daffodil bulbs I planted are about 8 inches tall but not flowered yet.I had a delivery from Birkacre Garden Centre two weeks ago so looking forward to many flowers soon.No gardening today as my bubble are visiting

Lovely, went for a long walk this morning why it's so nice.

My crocuses are up and looking good. Daffs are just having a peep just yet.

bit fresher this morning but still nice for a walk.

Next jobs are giving the benches and table a coat of protection, made them myself a few years ago and they are still like new due to the care I give them.

Let's hope this weather keeps up.

Yes I do Peter & we sell both kinds of Turf mainly the real kind which is cheaper but the Astro Turf sells really well especially in Standish & Parbold.As for myself it doesn't make a blind bit of difference to the general public what I have in my garden they don't see it .I work & just want the easy option hence the Astro Turf

When we moved into our house we soon found out that the back garden lawn was continually waterlogged,my hubby dug it all up and laid paving stones everywhere plus the patio is the same,my hubby used to power wash it all,but since he recently passed away I don't think that I could do it..everywhere is so grubby now,does anyone know of any product that I could use to clean everywhere,I would be so grateful for any suggestions.

Bleach just dont get it near your plants

Momac I brush neat bleach on my patio & leave it a few hours then hosepipe it & it comes up really clean

One of the easiest things to grow is grass, one of the hardest to grow is a lawn.

First mate,there aren't any plants nearby..they're all in tubs.

Have just been getting rid of dried leaves on a pink pampas,I can't set fire to it as its in a plastic tub and when the ground softens a bit Im going to dig a hole and plant it,I know it will never bloom (which I'm dying to see ) while its in the tub.

My garden is a lovely shade of white , as is my neighbours, and it will remain that way for a couple of months yet.

Billinge Biker. I use teak oil for all my wooden furniture inside and out. A lot of people won't use it because there is a bit of work getting the residue off, but believe me it really does protect your good timber and prolong the look. I use Danish oil on my banister which is oak.

Just back from a walk in the sunshine, very nice once we got off the main road.
We walked up Jacks Lane in Howfen through the fields, very nice, but spoiled by the thump thump bang bang of a pile driver on a building site near Westhoughton Golf Club, the sound has travelled miles.

Let it soak in a while, 30 mins or so, then wipe off the excess. I can't fault the stuff, I made my furniture eight or nine years ago and it's still A1.
