As MP's go I think Lisa Nandy is a decent one.
Out of her expenses she paid around 150,000 pounds in staff wages a couple of years ago,so a fair portion of the total figure claimed.

Fossil: her voting attendance in parliament is lower than the average MP, she voted to reduce the voting age, she has never voted on any anti-terrorism laws, has voted against stricter asylum policies and against stricter enforcement of immigration rules. She voted against raising the threshold at which people start to pay tax. She has never had a proper job and perhaps if she spent more time in Wigan talking to her constituents, she might not have to pay people to do her job for her.

I was always under the [apparently misguided] impression that the town's MP should represent the views of her constituency. But when she advocates placing male rapists in female prisons [oops! sorry. I should have said those who 'self-identify' as a woman, despite possessing the thing that a man needs to commit a rape], then I suspect she isn't speaking for the vast majority of her constituents. She certainly isn't speaking for those genuine women in prison who may face danger at shower-time. Or any other time for that matter. This sort of idealogical claptrap beggars belief.

So because of border controls between the UK and the EU and saying that is like music to me ears

More paper work is now needed, so a firm like Lidle sends a wagon from Germany or France to the UK with stock, and before Brexit there would have been one piece of paperwork, the stock manifest and now that one wagon, may need to carry four pieces of extra paperwork, so Lidle just program their computers to print out those extra documents, which will take seconds to do, so that if the driver gets pulled on a customs check, he just gives them the paperwork

Now then, lets look at the Scottish fisherman, they are upset, because they don't like doing paperwork, they hate the English, they voted to 'Remain' because Scotland received lots of EU grants, because they are a pee poor country, and I bet not one of those fisherman has a computer, never mind a printer.

Moaning about her isn't going to change a thing and I cant understand why people even bother doing it, and like all MPs her expenses, will be examined and scrutinised to the last penny. I am sure there are those who think it all goes in her skyrocket!!

Contentious issues will never go away and If you don't like her or her politics or think she is not acting in your best interest don't vote for her and instead hope the person you do vote for meets with your expectations. Sadly the fact people don't like her for her work supporting minority groups, especially ethnic ones says far more about the people concerned than her

Wigan was a target seat for the Conservatives at the last General Election, and if the Brexit Party had not split the Conservative and Labour vote, then Wigan may well have turned bloo

As it was Lisa Nandy, Jeremy Corbyn and the left wing 'Momentum' movement managed to reduce General Election majorities of 18,000+; 20,000+ and even 23,000+ to just 6728 votes, now that is a result in the once ultra staunch Labour Party supporting town of Wigan, and next time she could doo even better and wipe out that majority all together and give the seat to the Tories

I cannot see that happening, but I think those massive Labour majorities will be a thing of the past.

As regards the 'power' which Lisa Nandy holds as Shadow Foreign Secretary.
In Parliament, she is Privy to certain sensitive information regarding the Foreign and Commonwealth office, this is because the official opposition's Shadow Cabinet 'shadows' the Government, because in times of crisis the Monarch could sack the incumbent Government, and would appoint the Shadow Cabinet to govern the country instead, that is why they are Her Majesty's 'OFFICIAL' Opposition, their job is to keep the Government on its toes, and be prepared to take over as Government of this country if circumstances required this.

As 'Official Opposition Party' the Labour Party has certain Parliamentary powers, for instance they can call for votes of confidence in the Government.

After 120000 deaths and all the brexit lies I very much doubt the labour vote will not be well into five figures!
