I'm no expert Wn1 Stanish, you would cross the Dougie at where Central Park was, ( riverside )

I would have thought if I was to take the old Wigan Lane route past the Millstone, Fox & Goose, Royal Oak to the bottom od Standishgate then up to Market St and the Church, unless there's is an underground stream I'm unaware of, this would be the way in ?
