Poor Boris is being dragged over the coals today for being 7 miles away on a bike ride, Jeeeeezus Haitch Priest, As a cyclist I know 12 mph is an average speed for a, slightly overwieght person like Boris is, going of that average, it would take him 15 mins to get 7 miles and lets say another 15 mins to get home depending on fitness and terrain, So he's still only had half an hour on the bike and, a bike is a very social distancing device,
all goes to show, you can't please all the people,

I think he was sending a message to the police, and he was driven to the Olympic Park in London with his bike in the boot

35 minutes for seven miles at 12mph. ( 5 minutes per mile)

Tom. I would have no idea where to find a stopcock. Not joking. we have been in this hose almost fourteen years and when we had a burst recently I didn’t know where it was. Luckily the water wasn’t gushing.

you misunderstood me broady, if he's gone 7 miles, then he has to come back another 7 miles to get home and there are variants, eg, hills for one, if you go up a hill going, you will come down faster coming home,
as for stopcocks, phew,,,, they can be anywhere, sometimes the kitchen fitter builds a cupboard round them, That's a completely different ball game,
My lad in Novia Scotia in on a well and , a pump feeds the house so, there you have to knock the pump off to stop the water,

Indeed he is Nana.
But have to disagree with him about Boris, when other beings fined for driving 5 miles from home to take a walk.

Jathbee, they were drinking coffee, Mr Handcock explained the difference on TV yesterday, he said, " yes Go exercising as far and as long as you like but, drinking coffee is socializing, " I think he meant, its ok to cycle, walk , jog or run and swig water as you go but, to drink coffee is unacceptable because most people need to chat at the same time and get too close,
Boris was not drinking coffee so that is ok, clear ?
