Windowlene/Newspaper.

Is it an age related thing that when elderly folk.. Especially my neighbours... Plaster their windows with either of one of the above when decorating? They both have vertical blinds at the front of their homes... Surely lowering them is an easier task than their options... Anybody else do it... I don't.

BB Vertical blinds don't lower,only go to the side,no we don't put anything on the windows either

Ha ha my mistake... Meant Horizontal... They all do the same thing though.

Used to use newspaper to polish the windows after washing them with vinegar and water.

Can you imagine how many windows & glass patio doors the cleaners have to sparkle for the next holiday makers abroad ,that is what they use lots of newspaper

Puts a lovely sparkle on them does newspaper.

I cheat these days, I use a window vac...no streaks.

They are smashing, I was reluctant at first about them but glad I did get one eventually.

I think ours is a Karcher. We only have the upstairs done once a year. Half the time his water would freeze as he’s up the ladder.
