Just like to add again, after having time to look round the two links uploaded by TTS, still not got my head round the (Wayback Machine) but good if you can still login. TTS I've put both in Favourite just in case they go missing.
Nothing changes this from 2003 -- Poster or sh-- starrers-- There's more to WW than the message boards if new people or old posters look at the site why we are in lockdown and forget about all the negative chat

I think we are in 'Lockdown because of the Worldwide Global Pandemic, which is something to doo with that Covid-19 thing
It's not really the fault of the 'bad uns' on Wigan World
I think

Got me wrong not meaning anything it was just one of the threads in 2003 and it sounded just like the same things still happening today on WW,
How many look at other things on WW, was just pointing out with lockdown everyone as time to look round that's all, I've put the link on ex-downer greener thread on places of for them to read, it's all facts about the life of a young lad just starting work in the Pit in 1948

When I grew up in Bamfurlong, and I left there when I was 11 my schoolmates eventually went to Ashton Secondary Modern, and then they went down't pit
I really do wish I had done the same, and then me and Whupsy could have worked together uderground, and Whupsy would have been mi boss
