He walks past our house occasionally, seems no harms in him. Why has he been singled out ?
Replied: 5th Oct 2020 at 19:57
Because Mick likes to make himself feel superior at other people's expense. I would hate to have to conform to his standards of such judgemental behaviour. Sickening really.
Replied: 5th Oct 2020 at 20:15
I thought that too Standisher, Its very unkind to poke fun at less better off people,
Walk a mile in a mans shoes before you judge him,
Replied: 5th Oct 2020 at 20:17
The man looks clean and tidy. I would like to know how Mick knows they are from a charity shop.
Replied: 5th Oct 2020 at 20:22
Does it really matter where they came from. If it suits the wearer **** the starer (stirrer)
Replied: 5th Oct 2020 at 20:30
Yes and he has a good spring in his step, A sign that he has looked after himself, Not been spoiled by burgers and chips, I'd wager, shame on you for your selfish superiority , If that person was other than white, he would have you prosecuted for your remarks and stalking video,
Replied: 5th Oct 2020 at 20:36
The man moved to one side to allow Mick to pass but Mick hung back to video him, by the looks of it. In the end the man crossed onto the pavement. Mick is such a rude ignorant man.

I just had another look, this gentleman is very aware of the cameraman's presence, without even looking back, So he is a very astute gentleman , using his ears and instincts , confident, fluid in movement , does not engage as many would, I would not be surprised at all if this man has already rated his worth,
My guess, middling to low as a threat,
Replied: 5th Oct 2020 at 21:49
The man was walking down Coppull Lane, and opposite the entrance to the Swinley Club there is a recently built accommodation facility, for adults with learning problems, so I think that the chap probably came from there, because it is only a few yards from where Mick found him
Replied: 5th Oct 2020 at 22:00
If I knew where he lived I would drop off a jacket for him. Anonymously.
He may well have been given the coat by a relative and wears out of a sense of appreciation.
If he happens to read this post he would problem dismiss the opening comments as inflated snobbery to be ignored.

No he dosent live there, TTS he told me when I spoke to him that he lived in Whelley and when I asked about his new jacket being to big, he said he got it from a catholic charity shop near all the Standishgate takaways
Replied: 5th Oct 2020 at 22:28
Very tactful that mick"why is your jacket too big"
Replied: 6th Oct 2020 at 07:54
The jacket s a bit big but so what if the guy is happy wearing it. Let's see a photo of you fatmick and we can all give an opinion on your outfit.
Replied: 6th Oct 2020 at 08:22
I can't comprehend the audacity of you approaching the poor man & probably embarrassing him to ask such a question
Replied: 6th Oct 2020 at 08:23
I'd also like to know if this man's permission was asked before a film of him was put on youtube for the amusement of others?
Replied: 6th Oct 2020 at 08:28
Thankfully kathpressy, no one is amused by mean Mick's intrusion into another person's life. One day he will shove his nose in and someone will plant a well aimed fist into it. But then he picks his victims carefully.

Mick
What a useless waste of space you are proving to be. Time to buck up, please.
Replied: 6th Oct 2020 at 09:34
I find it disgusting that Mick has taken it upon himself to film an individual walking round in Wigan for no other reason than the way he is dressed, then put it on YouTube for all and sundry to see. I'm sure the chap had no idea that this was to be your intention or would have agreed to it if asked. Its irellevant whether he has learning difficulties or not, he's had his personal rights violated and for what, so Mick can take the rise out of him. Aim at the defenceless safe in the knowledge there's no comebacks. Playground bully springs to mind. My Wife watched the film and was appalled. She said if Mick had filmed her he'd still be in the Infirmary having his camera surgically removed. I seem to recall a few months ago a film at Top Lock where Mick loiters around watching lads and girls jumping into the canal. Is this what we want to see on Wigan World ?. You should be ashamed of yourself Mick.
Replied: 6th Oct 2020 at 11:11
kathpressey, no I didnt ask his permission because thats not necessary, but I did talk to him and asked him if he was lost and what was his name, and I did keep my eye on him until he got well away from the river Douglas, because Ive heard about people jumping into the river in that spot, especially if they have just been released from Wigan Infirmary.
sonlyme, to be Frank Frank my clothes were a bit on the baggy side when I lost my ale belly, but now Im fairly well dressed, and in clothes bought from Charity shops.
My favorite clothes are M&S blue harbour or autograph because I know by the size that they will fit me, Ive bought some brand new ones recently for as little as £1.
TTS yes that the shop
Replied: 6th Oct 2020 at 11:14
So your poor excuse for your very intrusive behaviour is that you were being protective.
Now why do I not believe that.
Replied: 6th Oct 2020 at 11:24

Replied: 6th Oct 2020 at 13:28
Mick, you were making fun of him, no excuses.
Replied: 6th Oct 2020 at 13:54
I did warn you what a low life he was. He really is a sick and nasty individual.
Obviously not the long standing members who already knew of his past history on here.
Replied: 6th Oct 2020 at 15:23
My lady friend just emailed me saying wouldnt it be great Mick if they had folk like you who went out around Wigan capturing Wigan past and the characters that used knock about our old town center in days gone by.
People like Maggie Muscle, Micky Dalton, Billy Davies, Jacky Pie, Long legs Lenny, Joe Soap to name a few,
Replied: 6th Oct 2020 at 16:27

We have now traced this lady friend who keeps emailing Sick Mick

Replied: 6th Oct 2020 at 16:36
Did your "lady friend" then intimate it would be "great" if you uploaded them to a public message board complete with a sneering introduction?
What an absolute shabby post that was!

For many years Mick has been treating people with contempt.
Council house tenants, fat women, tattooed women, council house kids and now vulnerable people. In my opinion he is beyond contempt. And beneath all those he ridicules. Disgusting creature.
Replied: 6th Oct 2020 at 19:13
Before my time Mick... Please elaborate on these characters and what they got upto... Now that would be interesting.. There have been a few characters up here over the years.. But their exploits are only known to the local community.

The only one I remember was 'Clapper' who used to chase us school kids across the market place car park in the sixties because we had clapped our hands loudly. He must have been 'shell shocked' or something but we were just silly teenagers who didn't know any better at the time, poor fella. R.I.P.

Peebee,
I remember Clapper well. Bill Lyon I think his name was. Got chased across the Market Square quite a lot early 60’s. Exchanged e-mails with Tony Donaghy recently. Do you remember him? Was from Adlington.
Replied: 6th Oct 2020 at 22:09
Up here in Shevy we had a place called Gaffy Yard and I think most of the old men and women who lived there were shell shocked, but it didnt stop me and my mates taking the piss out of them.
Billinge Biker only two I knew where Billy Davies, he was Wigan first gay man to come out, and Micky Dalton who always wore a flower in his lapel and was always drunk and would walk out and start leading the walking day procession.

Well done WN1... I Was accepted a couple of years ago to be a full blown blue lights rider etc... But at the time being in work I couldn't fully commit to their requirements. You need to be available (quite rightly) at any time of day like the RNLI.. I Am still part time (62yrs old) maybe in a year or two things may change and I would be the first in the queue for volunteering.

Why would you follow a man and ask if he was lost? Why would you think he might be about to jump in the river? is this what you ask everyone that you walk behind or come across by a river? I can't say it pops into my mind at all.

1) He fears honesty
He isn’t just dishonest, he fears honesty completely. The Modern Coward knows his true character isn’t worth a damn to others, so he lies and creates a false image for others. This is to elevate himself on an illusionary pedestal to tower over others.
The Modern Coward is basically deluded as he revels in his own fake world. He lives in it and will die for it.......You are a coward
