Philip Gormley

I have just had a phone call from Philip's brother. With a very heavy heart I have to inform you all that Philip passed away yesterday from a massive heart attack. Phillip was a very good friend of mine and I know he had a lot of friends on the web site and was a regular contributor to the photos in the Album ad Photo a day. Philip himself was a very accomplished artist. I hadn't seen him since the Lock Down and I was only thinking I should go up to meet him at his local the EAGLE and CHILD at Billinge for a catch up and a pint. which I did every couple of months.
Condolences to Philip's family and friends from everyone at wiganworld

R.I.P. Philip.

I was interested in one of his paintings of Billinge Hill.

He will be missed on here.
