Covid 19 Pandemic - Second Wave Underway
Coronavirus: Lockdown tightened in parts of northern England
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-53602362
And Wigan is one of the places where the Lockdown is being reintroduced, because it is in Greater Manchester, and all because you won't be told will you, skrikin about wearing face masks, and ignoring social distancing rules, and you couldn't wait to get back in the pubs and start infecting each other, could you

From the complete list it appears that it is where there is a large Asian population. There appears to be a language problem unless claiming benefits then English becomes their FIRST language. Enoch rules OK.

Tommy tommy tommy tommy, Listen, England is not the worst, It has had a lot of deaths because, it has a lot of people, We are a crowded little island, with a big multi cultured population of, different races, fat people, dole wallers and, as you point out, non compliant rebels,
I was in Tesco today getting my Lotto, I was wearing a mask, waiting my turn at the counter, in front of me was this young unattractive fat girl with her child, the child was out of control, she was tattooed all over her fat legs, arms and neck and she was unmasked , and balling at the child who waned a chocolate bar, to keep still, he took no notice, I was't brave enough to say, " hey thee fatty, put a mask on, you are more likely to die cos you're Fat " The shop manager behind the desk did not say anything either, All I can say is, hope and pray for a mild Winter,
We are all Doomed,

Every year, thousands of people die of acute respiratory failure. It's generally flu, pneumonia, or forms of c.o.p.d..
The general public never hear about this, so they don't think about it.
This latest coronavirus is only the same. However, it's broadcast allover the place and a big fuss is made of it. So, it follows that most people get frightened of it and walk round like zombies wearing a mask.
But, it's a proven fact that smoking gives you lung cancer. So,why are people not frightened of that?
"oooooh., I'm wearing my mask. I'm not getting coronavirus, it can kill you, you know" .... "anyway, I'm just nipping outside for a cig"!

We had a bad outbreak here in a meat packaging plant. Almost half of the workforce of 2000 got Covid. I think 2 or 3 of those, tragically, died. The vast %age of those affected were Filipino's. Lived in overcrowded house. travelled in overloaded cars, carried on life as normal. Does that sound familiar? I wonder what %age of the new cases are under 40. In most cases it is just a survivable illness as most do not have underlying conditions. The risk is they can pass it on to people who are vulnerable

Tommy 2 spikes, I'll have yooo know that, I am fully compliant with social distancing , mask wearing, not using public transport,, I hav't been in a pub yet, nor a gym, bingo hall, cinema, I exercise everyday and wash my hands frequently, So don't put me in the ' not taking seriously' group. I know its your job to ferry people about but, that puts yooo at a bigger risk and we could say that yooo are a potential a 'carrier' of infected people and driving an infection incubator around town spreading it all around,

Fauci the believed claims It can get in via the eyesockets, and now we have this.
Second wave could target young people this time, scientists warn.

The virus is here, and it's here to stay. The second wave will hit the country in a few week's time, and the majority of the population couldn't care less. All we keep hearing from the government is the economy, the economy, so if the predictions of the second wave come true and hundreds or even thousands of the under 40s don't survive, then what use are job vacancies, if there is no one to fill them. But putting all this aside, it seems by some people that COVID-19 doesn't exist, it's all a big con.

A quick search tells me:
Population of Israel 8.84m
Number of cases 70.582 ( 0.008% of population)
Number of deaths 509 ( 0.007% of those infected)
% age of population that have died 0.00005729
If you take away those over 80 which is over 50% of the total it doesn't appear to be a mega problem IMO.

The local lockdown in Wigan is ridiculous. Wigan and Rosendale have a lower rolling 7 day infection rate than a lot of London boroughs yet London isn't locked down. What has actually been locked down are areas of the country with large asian muslim populations. Wigan and Rosendale were unfortunate enough to be lumped in with them. The asian population in Wigan is 1.1% according to the last census whereas areas with high infection rates have a 20% asian population. This is due do asian immigrants settling in mill towns to work after WW2 when we were short of labour while mining towns such as Wigan and rural economies such as Rosendale didn't attract them in the same numbers. This lockdown was definitely put in place to try to reduce transmission in the asian community during the Eid celebrations. That said, I do not blame the asian community for the spread, rather the socio-economic conditions they have to contend with such as low paid jobs, poor working conditions, poor housing, poor educational achievement, racial discrimination etc. This leads to multi-generational families living in cramped housing conditions in which Covid spreads like wildfire.

Wigan had mills but not many left by the time we had the influx of asian immigration. Our industry was far more heavily based on mining and engineering than the likes of Blackburn or Rochdale.

Nobody has ever said it doesn't exist. Lots of viruses 'exist'. Lots of diseases 'exist'. Always have done, always will do. That doesn't mean you're going to catch one of them, and die.
Thousands die of flu every year. I've never had flu in my life. I seldom even catch a cold.
Thousands die of hepatitis. Nobody's frightened of that. Thousands die of cancer. They don't seem frightened of that either, as they pull their covid protective facemask down while they smoke a proven cancer causing cigarette?

I got a cold in October 1991 and instead of the usual getting over it in about a week, carrying on going to work, taking Beechams, Lemsips, Benylin etc after two weeks I wasn't getting better, and I was told by folk that I had the floo, so I stocked up and went to bed.
But I wouldn't get better and I started coughing and couldn't stop, me chest was aching with coughing, and I couldn't sleep, because I was coughing so much, so then I went to the doctor, and he told me that I had pneumonia
He gave me a course of antibiotics, and I didn't die, but by this time it was nearly Christmas, and after Christmas I realised that me breathing was acting a bit funny, because me lungs were telling jokes, so I went back to the doctors, and had some tests and was diagnosed with asthma, has a result of having the pneumonia, so I was then on inhalers, then in February I lost me voice, and the doctor said it was an after effect of the pneumonia, and I couldn't speak till June, and when I went outside the cold air would start me off coughing, and I only started to get really reet, after some warm weather in August and September, and I could still feel the effects of that floo and pneumonia, up to three years later.

I know that is not funny
The Covid 19 infection rates are getting worse in France and other countries.
So folk abroad are now trying to get back wom, before 4.00am tomorrow, after which they will have to self-isolate for two weeks, so today its like Dunkerque again, they will be sending small ships across the channel to rescue folk
