Roe Deer

Started by: PeterP (12428)

I went out for a ride last night and on my travels came across a herd of deer. The last time I saw them there were about a dozen last night I counted at least twenty so they are thriving They must be content and are in the same field has last time which is not fully enclosed and they are not penned in.

I saw two yesterday afternoon as I was coming up from Crooke, and a few weeks ago I saw one on Rabbit Rocks Ince.
Deer, Buzzards, and now Red Kites are becoming more common every year.

It is so heart-warming to know that animals are treated with respect by people who understand their need to continue, as there are far too many that are either extinct, or are threatened with extinction because of human greed.

They have more right to be here than us because they were here long before us.
