Luvly Jubbly...just checked my thermometer in direct sunlight in my sun trap rear yard and garden.....50°...you would surely burn if you did a small time out in it without protection...It is really oppressive...anybody who attends A + E with sunburn/ Sunstroke needs jailing.

I agree.

When I got into my car coming home from work yesterday the temperature read 87F. Wow, it was hot. Tonight, my car temp was 100F. Now that’s hotter!

That god person should have written an 11th Commandment, that went like this:

And lo, I decree that thou shalt not toil in thy workplace when the outside temperature doth reach the 70th degree. Thou shalt enjoy the heat from the sun that I gaveth to you millenia ago, and waste it not like thou wast a drudge. Instead thou shalt stop a’wom and relax with thine chalice of tea or coffee, or beer if thou must, so harken unto me and do my bidding, otherwise dire prognostications will befall thee.

Summat like that anyway.

I blame it on the weather.

Well, it's not fair. It always happens when we have lovely hot days during the week, then it's miserable at weekends.

When I got home tonight I sat out at the front with me Code Breaker, and it was lovely, but only for half an hour when the sun disappeared behind the roof of my neighbour across the road. S'not fair.

Stay like this till December...then warm up a bit...
