I cycled through Downall Green today and everything seemed Hunky dorey , Some of the older folks were putting out benches for the upcoming Jelly Sunday parades, I did;t have the heart to tell them that, Its long time gone now,

I don't think Gaffer meant that Downall Green itself has been cancelled. I think he edited and cancelled whatever he'd written beforehand, 5 minutes later.

The post I removed was a video of a gang of lads riding dirt bikes through Donald Green . They were using the full width of the road and doing wheelies etc.
I removed it because it had access to my Facebook account. You can see it on FB if you go to Ashton in Makerfield Community Group and scroll down. It was posted by a Gill Reed.

Peterp it was only because the post said that DH had been cancelled, and I thought that when you saw the post you would you would be complaining about it.
I've not. been in the graveyard since Dougie died, I've always wondered did he keep his promise and be buried in Coventry or did his family settle for DH.

His funeral was Well attended at St Helens crem. Windle I did't ask where his ashes would be laid,
Gaffer would those lads on bikes be the same as
louts

It’s a much smaller group Tom and more reckless.
If you go on Facebook, Ashton in Makerfield Community Group and scroll down you’ll see it. Don’t forget ‘Group’ or you’ll be on another Ashton site.

yea I've watched it now Gaffer and the person with the camera is part of the gang, A copper should be able to identify him from the phone usage report and take his bike,
