Congratulations on Saturday. I had you to win 2-0 on the predictor I enter. Presume you'll be cheering Wiggin this Friday. Sadly your mate is on the other side of Mexico or we could have met up and chewed the fat.

Yes congratulations on the Wolves first Premier League win of the season against bottom club Watford, thus letting jarvo show his face back around these parts again and allowing him to start by posting about other teams in his attempt to deflect his own teams mediocrity.

Replied: 1st Oct 2019 at 09:35

No but I saw 'the irony' in you telling me you've been on benefits for ten years and had several motorbikes in that time but thought I was 'living in another world' when I suggested your latest bike had been bought with the help of your benefit money.
Especially after you'd previously posted boasting that 'us taxpayers' would be paying for your next bike.

If what you are intimating is that City haven't won as much as yoonited over their history then everyone knows that. This is particularly true since your calendar started in 1992.

So in racing parlance I believe an also ran is out of the top three as the top three places are considered worthy of achievement.
So as a result, in football terms, that would be top four being worthy of achievement with the rest being also rans.
So what does that make SEVENTH place and NINE points behind fourth place?
Also ran maybe?

Nonsense again Chatty, you have been out thought so you invent distorted assumptions in an effort to deflect the embarrassment.
I don't blame you, you don't want your minions to realise you have been outmaneuvered now do you?
Obviously I want my team to succeed and if that means finishing in the top four to allow progression then that is what is required. Doh!
Just think, even yoonited fans can aspire to a top six place so that they can continue their progression and establish themselves within the Thursday night club.

I think they even named it in honour of Arsene Wenger who re invented his career doing it towards the end.

Everytime The Fourmidables break a record or achieve something that you were certain would be "not in your lifetime" you move onto something else. Currently the champs league knockout trophy.

Why don't you have a banner made and hang it from the stand at old toilet.......if you know your way there that is!

Not really, unlike you I don't need to wear the support of my team on my sleeve (although I can't recall you wearing it anywhere before they won their first trophy since The Rubettes were topping the charts ) or feel the need to shoehorn various away games into the conversation.
As for the 'LaZboy' jibe, I know for a fact you don't attend everygame without fail, so surely you must be talking 'degrees of Lazboyness' then.

Let's see:
1967-2019:
I was thirteen at the time (1967). Possibly eight home games in that first season; and five away.
1968-1978:
I hardly missed a home game up until 1977.
Away games: all the Lancashire clubs and Leeds. West Brom and Brum away.
1978 onwards:
Possibly ten home games per season up until 1980.
1980 and beyond:
I would average a home game at least once a month, due to work and getting married.
Became friends with Director John Harris in 1992 and was guest in the director's box on many occasions.
Started taking my son in 2005 as guests to the Harris family.
Away games during this time: All northern clubs and Villa included.
2017:
Became a season ticket holder in the Steve Bull Stand.
Attended every PL home game since then.
I 'go' to the match...
Do you, Chatty?
Oh, I forgot. My first ever game was at Burnden Park in September 1966. And then Deepdale in early 1967.
Both away games, obviously.

You are right Chatty, these days I'm very, very lazy, just every home league and cup game, most domestic away cup games, the odd European away game and half a dozen away league games per season. I've toned it down lately!

Eh, I was more than '2 minutes' posting a picture of the poor homeless bloke, it was nearer two weeks, the first time I had ventured into town since someone tried to tell me they didn't exist.(Glad you've no problem with the veracity of the photo though)
And that was the problem I had with Zzzz, having already stated that I was willing to swear on my childrens life that the photo was genuine, he still had the gall to say it was a set up!
So yes I was "scriking about people questioning my honesty"[:?]
Moving on;

So for you ask me to show you a ticket for it or I am some kind of 'liar' is absoloute bollocks!

I had one in the seasons the Stretford End was being reconstructed to guarantee my admission when the capacity dropped to 30,000.

"However they still remain one of the world's top clubs. "
Wrong, they still remain one of the world's most famous clubs, they haven't been top of anything meaningful for a good while now.
However, that fame along with the number of glory hunters are dwindling by the day. The longer they remain without glory the quicker they will slide into yesterday's obscurity.
Good innit?

There's probably 15 managers in the Prem at the minute who will never win the League.
I'm not suggesting for one second that Ole is on the same planet as Fergie but I wouldn't have bet tuppence on him winning the League 12 months into his tenure.

Glad you enjoyed it and a good result. First half very good, second half not as good. Was surprised Rashford didn’t get his hat trick late on. I thought Fred had a much better game. Have to admit I was a bit disappointed in Spurs. McTominey’s return pepped up the midfield. Looking forward to Sunday.

Thanks broady.
You could see how fired up they were early doors .
Spurs were disapointing ,lacking belief until the second half .
Scotty Mac played well but his tendency to lose or play the wrong ball in his own half is a concern which O G S needs to address.
Fred can clearly play ,just needs more confidence .
Roll on Sunday.Be having a sov or two on Rashy again .

Congratulations to the corner shop, giving the conglomerate big boys a bloody nose in their own multinational headquarters.
Not quite 1-6 but commendable nevertheless.
They played like it was their cup final using all methods to gain a win. And so they should, it was always going to be the only way to get a result.
I remember when City were also rans and playing yoonited was our biggest game of the season, just like it is yoonited's now to play THE CHAMPIONS.
Oh how we celebrated on the rare occassion we beat them...just like you lot are now doing.
Oh how sad and pathetic we must have looked celebrating a win against our much bigger neighbours in our cup final...just as you lot now look.
Anyway, at least ole will stay on a little longer. Result!

Replied: 8th Dec 2019 at 12:07

On another note, the moron who allegedly did the monkey chant yesterday and the idiots who chucked things need banning for life.
Every club has it's morons just like the yoonited "fan" who confronted Sterling a while back and the Chelsea morons on the train.
The vast majority of yoonited supporters were well behaved, in good voice and didn't half give it to us at the end of the game. Quite right too, I would expect nothing less...we have done the same.
However, a female yoonited supporter (we sit next to the away fans and corporate area) near the end of the game threw a cup which hit my wife on the head (fortunately empty) and legged it. What goes through the minds of these people? What made her think it was a good idea?
Any of us who attended games for years, particularly in the 70's have seen this type of stupid and racist behaviour and much worse.
Thankfully racism is now almost eradicated at football in comparison to days gone by and it has no place in society never mind football.
As supporters, irrespective of the colour of our scarves we must unite against the prejudice of the colour of our skin.
See it, report it.

Can't disagree Broady, with Kompany leaving and LaPorte injured, Stones rumoured to be having family issues and just back from injury along with an ageing Fernandinho filling in out of position, plus an ageing Otamendi who has always had a calamity in him it's understandable why we are where we currently are.
We should have had a replacement for Kompany lined up but his decision to leave was quite spontaneous being given the opportunity at Anderlecht.

You conveniently missed out the smiley emoji immediately after that and within the brackets of the same statement. Obviously meant jokingly but you put your own fake spin on that as it wouldn't support your smoke and mirrors....as usual.
NOW WHERE ARE THOSE QUOTES? (shouty as I can't do bold)
Talking about 'hasbeens and 'also rans' aren't your's playing tonight, what with it being Thursday and all that?

So you're inferring anything you've ever posted with a smiley face after it could well be bullsh#t?
That explains a lot then.
I didn't 'conveniently miss out anything' out, I just ran my finger over the quote pressed copy and pasted it into the box, it doesn't pick up the emoji, but nice try anyway.
Quite correct we play tonight, saving you any chance of more embarrassment had we met you in that competition as well before someone turfs you out in the quarters.
Anyway must dash, got a vote to cast and a game to attend.
Come on you Reds.

Don't be a silly billy Chatty.
Because you can't back up your claim you are using your smoke and mirrors again to try to deflect from the fact that you hastily shot from the lip.
NOW WHERE ARE THOSE QUOTES?
"it doesn't pick up the emoji, but nice try anyway"
That's a difference between you and me, it is an error that I wouldn't have made.
"Game to attend" my eye, you wouldn't know the way to old scaffold. Anyway, they did well playing St. Cuthbert's under eight, womens second eleven or whoever it was. Problem is the world didn't know or care who or whether they were playing.
How the might fall!
BTW, after last night's vote, just like Manchester the country is BLUE!!
