Wasnt the venue known as the bolshie club back in the day.

I remember a snooker club next to Coops a few years ago.
I Can't think of the name of it though?

I remember it first as Sloopies Barbra Calderbannk owned it the it became Pemps Don't know after that . The Bolshie was on the other side of th road from memory it was the old ie Wigan laour Club. So called the Bolshie , because it was run by Comm s back then

the snooker club was called the 147, it was opened by john parrot.

The Bolshie club was the same premises that became Pemps.

Went on a coach rip from the bolshie when I was a kid, and a few mates of mine used to frequent pemps.
