Anthony Craston born Kirkby Lonsdale 1828. Married Elizabeth Topping born Wigan 1837. They first lived at Thorn Hill with their 5 children all born in Wigan where AC was manager of Brock Mill forge, Haigh Foundry for 25yrs. Moved to 143 Standish Gate, schoolhouse attached to Cambridge House School. Anthony Craston founded the school in 1882 and was Head Master there. Retired to Blackpool sometime before 1901
