Wigan Genealogy

My Grandfather James Caine was born at No 1 Hill Street in Farnworth in 1889. I believe he married Agnes Coward in 1917 in WIGAN and there is a possibility that they had two children. It is believed she died in 1953 (ish) Has anyone any knowledge of either of these people particularly Agnes Caine nee Coward? Also is Hill Street still there? Would love to trace the children if there were any. Thanks in anticipation.
