Looking to locate further details on Henry Monks a man who worked for Coop and Co Ltd, Coops Mill, Dorning Street, Wigan before joining the army and dying in action during the First World War. I have located several possible, but no additional details, possible are as follows; Lance Corporal HENRY MONKS 17150, "D" Coy. 9th Bn., Cheshire Regiment, who died age 21, on 02 July 1916. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Monks, of 20, Moston St., Reddish, Stockport. Remembered with honour, THIEPVAL MEMORIAL Private H MONKS, 46622, 12th Bn., Manchester Regiment, who died, on 19 October 1917 Remembered with honour DOZINGHEM MILITARY CEMETERY Lance Corporal H MONKS, 200759, "D" Bn., Tank Corps, who died, on 20 November 1917 Remembered with honour, FLESQUIERES HILL BRITISH CEMETERY Private H F MONKS, 358895, 2nd/10th Bn., The King's (Liverpool Regiment), who died, on 30 April 1917 Remembered with honour, ERQUINGHEM-LYS CHURCHYARD EXTENSION Any information would be most helpful in identifying the Henry Monks who worked in the Coops Mill, thanks Diane Wainwright
