Looking for further details on 32767 Private (Headquarters boy) Harold Beach 17th Battalion Manchester Regiment, he died during a major German offensive, most likely in HQ at Goodman Redoubt which was surrounded and cut off from allied lines. His war medals are displayed in a local church in Ince. He was the son of Moses and Mary Beach of 241 Ince Green Lane, Lower Ince Wigan. He worked for Coop and Co Ltd in Coops Mill, Dorning Street Before joining the Army.
Any information would be most helpful, thanks Stephen Hill
