The gentleman on the right might have a medical problem, sometimes I can't believe the nasty comments that appear on the PADs page.
Some people are thin because of an illness and some people are fat because of the same reason.

The illness is called Sloth and Gluttony.
Obese people like this are wobbling around hospitals getting their Knees and Hips replaced and getting medication for diabetes and heart conditions.
The number of unhealthy young and older people around Wigan with walking sticks or in wheelchairs is a disgrace, if sat near me in a cafe it would put me off my food.
Sorry if it offends but it’s true, no excuse for being like that.

WN6 I would not like to have you at the side of me whist I was eating My late wife was in a wheelchair for many a year after having a massive stroke in 2012. I had to cut up her food because she had lost the use of her right hand and used her left hand only Don't tar every one with the same brush

PeterP, I have immense sympathy for anyone who succumbs to any disability particularly a stroke, the most cruel of things to strike anyone and their loved ones. I know this from experience.
I would sit and eat with any disabled or disadvantaged person and would go out of my way to be friendly or assist. Yes there are conditions that can cause weight loss or gain but many hide behind the excuse of It’s my metabolism or it’s my thyroid when it’s no more than self indulgent abuse.

Poor fellow only stopped to have a breather, and then ended up being derided on here, never mind lad, as there's more on here who'll give a kind word, as not.
The pavement in this arcade always has what appears to be a coating of grease, and when wet I remember it could become slippery.
They must have had problems with pigeons flying in and roosting too, with the netting that's covering the upper ledges, though I haven't walked along there in years, in fact Higham's florists was still in there the last time I did.

I don't remember the flagged floor being so even - it looks almost like vinolay. Was it a stone floor years ago?

I got a message first thing this morning telling me to look on this sites photos a day as I was on todays photo. Well I am the fat guy on the right of the photo and am truly shocked at the ignorant comments you made about me. I'm a human being just like yourselves and dont deserve this abuse I hope you are all proud of yourselves I am almost in tears. Thank you all for your hurtful comments

Les, I do unreservedly apologise for any hurt or distress caused by my comments, with freedoms of speech come a great responsibility and on this occasion it was abused.
I think that the photo with yourself included was calculated to incite negative comments but that is no excuse for me falling into the trap.
Perhaps in future people taking photos will be more mindful of there content and not for the first time be less opinionated when expressing their views.

WN6 clearly suffers from narcissism with a limited IQ and lots of hang ups - you can’t verbally dig yourself out of a deep hole, although can probably keep digging to hell.

It’s a nice to see what is going on around Wigan, esp for chronically ill that are housebound and can’t get out and about (my weight fluctuates, peaks at 9 stone, so is a case of healthier to be carrying some extra weight), exactly who is WN6 to be sitting in judgement of anyone.
