Photo-a-Day  (Tuesday, 25th October, 2022)

I like the Autumnal scenery with all the leaves changing colour. Beware the "woke" cyclist complaining about the leaves making the tow path slippery and a hazard in case they end up in the canal.

Ill be down here in a few hours time.

My favouritr subject for a photo....a canal & a narrow boat. I would love to have a stroll along the path beside the canal in that sunshine. Thanks De.

What a lovely scene. I love Autumn sunshine. There is a "glow" to it rather than the thin sunshine of Spring or the heat of the Summer sun. A beautiful time of year to be savoured before the clocks go back.

Hahaha! That happens to me a lot Dennis. It makes you wonder about all that written word swirling about in Space…some of it could be dangerous defamation ….

Fragments of sun pour out the tree ,
Twirling on water like
Lemon gondolas ,

Or swoop like skeletal birds ,
Scraping the bank with their claws ,
Blowing down paths , loitering by walls

Rolling like shells in waves of wind ,
They creep by the shoes of folk ,
A slow dry sea shuffling through town ,

The council try to gather them in ,
Pile them into bitter smoke .
The only time you smell the leaves .
