I Presume the boundary is the middle of the crossing?. When you think about other places where the road name changes you think it would be at a junction but it can be in the middle of anywhere along the street which may confuse people.
It looks to me that the shade of the Belisha beacon is one sided. hope it doesn't fall off and hit someone.
Interesting pic, Dennis. Good info but shouldn't there be four young lads walking across the road?
It’s always been Wigan Lane for me on both sides, officially or unofficially. But good to know the information.
So if one lives in one of those flats on the left would they have a different address to those living in the flats on the right.
