Willows Weeping
Photo: Dave (Oy) (Fuji X-T4 : 16-55mm F/2.8 )
Beautiful, Wigan has much to offer, we have so many lovely parks and nature walks.
Dave your top man, cheers.
A tree of the 'salix' genus ('sallow' in English), once cultivated for its roof-thatching ability, and with a mighty connection to the Sally Gardens song.
How beautiful is that !!. Wonderful photo Dave, clearly upto your usual high standard.
Fine photo - but the roots will be beneath your feet and about 400 yards behind you.
What beautiful trees. That would make a very difficult jigsaw!
Fresh, clean and pleasant on the eye, and almost Wigan...!!
Well done, Dave.
The most 'elegant' tree of the tree world, the branches are more like drapery...
Very clever photo and lovely park, Lilford thanks.
Absolutely beautiful shot, I just love Weeping Willows.
' Willow Weep for Me ' makes a fine accompaniment to this splendid picture. But will it be Ella, Billie , Nina or Sarah ?
pitty its full of dog muck left by lazy dog owners.
It would be nice to see this again when the bedding plants are in full bloom.
Fred Mason...Leigh IS Wigan.
What a lovely photo. It looks like a fairy tale is about to happen.love this.
