I was looking at the bricks from the wall to see if I could see the name of the brickworks that made them , but I couldnt see any names.
A quaint lodge, the view previously hidden by trees. Good one Brian.
Mr Cowen lived in the Lodge for many years,
he was Verger at Wigan Parish Church for over 60 years. As nice a gentleman you would ever wish to meet !
Just a useless bit of information. When they cut the trees down, I called in to ask about the possibility of getting some firewood. I was told that some bloke off Emmerdale, Eric somebody or other, I don't watch it personally, had first dibs on the logs. He's a mate of the new owners evidently. Just goes to show, it isn't what you know.....
