I remember standing outside when the queen opened it I was 9yrs old.We were from St Georges.

That lion looks a bit like Gelling, the german "kommandant" ---sorry teacher. One thing I still remember him shouting was "It's Girda boy NOT girder, she dosen't live on a building site"!!
