It was about 9.00am Honk and Brian.My wife thought I was mad going into town when the shops were closed but I found it a photographic heaven with a totally different perspective...a bit spooky.
Wonderful! It looks like a film set! One would expect to see Tom Cruise running around the corner any minute!!
My lucky day! Browsing months later and miles away to see what I could recognise & found this. My gran Ann Blaylock was born at the Crofters Arms, 14th Jan 1871. Hasten to add the family ran the pub and lived over the shop, it wasn't that great-gran hung around too long at the bar.
not having been for many years in Market st was pleasantly pleased to see it BUT has Commercial Yard gone ?? as opposite the pub was a entrance to Commercial Yard and shops and the Comm: Inn
Very peaceful and those yellow lines are really colourful.!!!
