Oh my word! My husband's mate has hens and ducks so we get a lot of free-range white duck eggs. Peter loves duck eggs but I find them too strong-flavoured and "gamey" boiled or poached, but, diluted with milk, they make fabulous custard pies! I would have thought those were mushrooms, Mick, if you hadn't pointed out that they were eggs!
