Folks you heard it on WW first, biggest scoop since The Washington Post broke the News on Watergate. Not one but TWO caravans no less!

Mick, perhaps this photo should have been sent to the Council or whoever deals with the carpark ?

I’m not too enamoured by the location Mick but a a lovely clear picture of the green trees with a pastel blue sky contrasting nicely with the beige surface of the car park.

I used to park on this carpark when I went fishing but not anymore.

Yes WN6 it's all happening out there if you get out and about.
I've had it first hand that dog walkers, fishermen and Wiganers who want to have a jog along the towpath have now stopped using the carpark.
Colin my friend the car park was used as a yard by the contractor who did the resurfacing of the towpath so the carpark was redone at the same time.

That is part of a Government scheme in which to house migrants rather than using hotels and boarding houses. The plan is to house them in caravans, like here on little used out of the way car parks. Trials are being carried out in selected locations across the UK, whilst intially using just a couple or so of caravans, then, if no objections, more shall be arriving and put to into use very soon.

I wouldn’t want to boost your ego too much Mick but if that car park was replaced by a shallow river and a Hay Wain you would have created your very own John Constable.

Join the canal at that point after coasting all the way almost from Haigh Hall.

They could belong to Arthur 'Two Caravans' Jackson? Or John 'Two Caravans' Prescott, only he's dead.

Dave that Dubois didn’t last long with Usyk after jumping in the ring after the Fury v Usyk fight late last year,Fury wants a third fight with Usyk but I think the result will be the same,Joseph Parker is lined up for Usyk’s next fight but I think Usyk to win but you never know.
