Must have been hard work driving unless she was only a passenger. Also she should have been wearing the mask not the dummy. Nice to see some one lighten the mood at Christmas though.

Brilliant! Even though you know how this works, it took a few seconds to work out exactly what was what. I bet she raised a few smiles. Thanks Mick.

Mick,! Get your bike out and go to take some pictures of the chaos, which is sure to be happening right now, in the middle of Standish, what with all them lorries coming through!
And never mind “it’s raining”. Don’t be soft!

Yes it must be terrible in Standish, but by now I think most of the heavy traffic will be diverting towards Manchester and then coming back along the M61, but the hold ups will be stretching along way further south towards Birmingham.
Ive just looked through our double glazed windows and can see the motorway north is still closed, its reminded me of that gloomy day in December about 30 years ago when I was walking under the viaduct and a Creda washing machine lorry came crashing through the barrier and landed in the river Dougie killing the driver, who might have lived if he hadn't been under water by the time me and a lorry driver got to him.

23:12 and the M6 north is still closed

Everything may have to be delivered like this if Andy Burnham has his way with the so-called Clean Air Zone that coverers the WHOLE of Greater Manchester from a date in May. https://www.facebook.com/groups/greatermanchestercaz/
