Photo-a-Day (Friday, 23rd July, 2021)
Photo: Mick Byrne (Panasonic DMC-TZ100)
When my youngest son was young, he’s 38 now, I would take a picnic and we’d sit in our neighbours field and watch him bringing in the harvest. Perfect.
isn't this Straw Mick not Hay ?
Lovely scene. It looks so cool in the shade of the tree.
The hay's in and all is well in Shevvy....la.
Not as many farmers bail hay/straw normaly in rolls now.
No heat can ever dissuade ,
My love towards my Earth ,
No rain can ever drown me ,my need my graft is worth .
I cannot ever falter
towards the Earth I feed , for the growth within its fabric ,
It just something my soul has need..
Lovely poem e, nice photo Mick, can't believe we are almost in August.
