Bit of a trip hazard those roots, and could soon have you off you bike if you hit them side ways on.

Roots come in useful if you are walking up and down hill though... not that I walk up many hills lately it's too muddy! It was ok in the summer months when going out for exercise during the non ending 'lockdown'! It's time they got their fingers out with the vaccine...

I love it!

One good thing about this lockdown is that at least I won't have to go to anyone else's house for Christmas dinner this year.
If I want indigestion, I can get that without leaving home, I don't require assistance from any third party thank you.

It just reminded me for some reason of Hundred Acre Wood in the Pooh Bear stories. Not good for me though as I can trip over a chalked line!

Ozy you can get tins of beans with little sausages inside if you fancy a Christmas treat.

Thanks for the tip Mick, but I'm not really into nourriture de fantaisie.
If it was a posh meal I was after, I'd just put t'chip pon on.

Isn't modern technology marvellous!
Beans with little sausages inside them eh? I can't get over it. Whatever will they think of next.

Comment by: DTease on 30th November 2020 at 20:24

How do they get the sausage in the bean?

Stop spoiling the post with stupid silly comments.
Lovely photo Dave.

I thought Sandyforth farm sounded familiar. It is, (or at least it was) the home of doctor David Mather. ( the OS map for the area spells Sandyforth with a Y incidentally). The site gained a certain notoriety a few years ago when the MD of the company that extracted the coal by opencast, did a bunk to South Africa ( allegedly ) leaving the local authority ( or to put it more succinctly ) me and thee, with the bill for clearing up the mess they left behind.
The phrase " Privatise the profit, Nationalise the loss " springs to my mind.

Anne, why do you feel the need to give instructions to other people on what they should or shouldn’t write? If you don’t like a comment just move on to the next one, no need to make a song and dance about it.

It seems to me this is the 'other' Anne who as usual doesn't have the common sense to add an initial to her name. Knowing there is another poster with the same name.

Ho! For goodness sake Anne, have a sense of humour. At least DTease made me smile.
