Very pleasant shot, Dennis...do I get the feeling of Autumn creeping in?
Even though the sky is grey and cloudy the scene looks fresh, the dash of pink adds some brightness. Very picturesque Dennis.

Very pleasant scene. Like Veronica, I love the splash from colour on the rosebay willowherb, and are those bulrushes at the other side of the water?

Good photo Dennis, I have walked many times looking at this small pond, never saw any fish. This would be about a quarter mile or so from Bent Houses where we lived. Off to the right is Gorton's Well and Hall Lane and the Church. Memories.
I agree with all the lovely comments, thank you Dennis. We could see all over Rivington from our house, when we were first married, spent a couple of years in Blackrod. So happy memories.
