Dee the fly boat
Mick, #Stayathome, Stay Safe. Like your photo btw.
That man's face says it all,
" She's not really with me, am just givin' 'er a lift, I found her wandering ont' canal bank'!
Jolly good maties they surely are, and of the Shanty school, but perhaps he's had enough of a hummed Shipping Forecast's 'Sailing By'.
One is dreaming of past destinations, the other thinking of where to go next.
The first thing I saw was the boat's name, "Dee", which is my hairdresser's name, and reminded me of the mess mine is in until they re-open! We're all going to look like Rapunzel, but grey!
Right, ladies?? Otherwise, a very peaceful scene. xxxx
There doesn’t seem to be any type of engine on that boat so she’s probably worn out after dragging it all the way from Liverpool and he’s probably thinking that she’s not as fit as she used to be.
Dee named after the river Dee, you can see her sister barge, Ribble pop pop popping along through Henhurst locks on this video

They've certainly spliced the mainbrace.
What an unhappy photo.
Mick your very close to the canal, hope you didn't fall in and put pressure on our NHS.
I would say the lady is very, very happy, she's well away...I wonder what's in her glass..
I agree wi Arthur.
I agree with alan
Looks like the lady has her hands tied behind her back and the bloke is thinking about using the hammer on her. HaHa
Nothing is in her glass at the moment, but may have drank Garry's sherry.
