I took the same photo on Saturday, but its not as good as this one because the wind was blowing from the other direction.
The priest really as got a flag for everything.

Well done Father John! I like to see a flag flying in the breeze in a village. I worked in a chemists in Standish as a young girl, (I was one once, honest!). It's a lovely place.

I can understand that Janice. It was different when I worked there in 1970-73! We only usually go through Standish on the 'bus these days on an occasional visit to Chorley Market.
