A good pie all round is our colourful fellow, but 'Wiggin Athletic' and 'Latics' have the better ring.

We need plenty pies this weather, my favourite is galoways, a bit expensive but really tasty.

I can't speak for all Wiganers but I love a pie! I love this photo too, and his smile is infectious and has brightened my day. I can just imagine the children amongst the spectators pointing him out to their parents and waving to him.

Nobody seems to want to sit near the Pie are they scared of crumbling him, has he paid for those three seats? What's more will the Pie eat 'humble pie' after the match? Or will the Wigan pie eaters eat Pie ;o))
