Owd Hat

Owd Hat
This memorial to an old rambler served very well this summer as a Blue Tit's nest.

I think the rambler would be very pleased about that

Nicely Boatman. And this isolated, lifeless group of buildings reminds me of my childhood days, when flipping through picture books and calendars that showed such scenes, at home and abroad, I would wonder what the folk indoors were doing - Smitten, when they by 'snowy', stayed.
The lower-half of your photo is nice and 'weighty' (Pity about you having missed the blue tit's 'egg-filled' nest.), while the upper-half is quite stonking, and oh the cloud at top-right.
