Yes, "It's that bridge again". But from a different angle and with a beautiful reflection. Well shot.

I never tire of seeing "that bridge". It's beautiful. Lovely photo.

We can always expect the unexpected with Mick. - from 'stinky cut with midges' to 'chocolate - box prettiness'. No end to his versitility!

As calm as a mill pond, and with fine textured-stone.

Silver tray of water
Black shadow moon
Drizzling Fuchsias scarleting
The lagoon.

THE BRIDGE
I’m tired I am, i’m nearly in tears
I’ve stood on this spot for years and years
When I was young I was sturdy and strong
But, alas fer myself it didn’t last long
First it was horses clomping over mi back
It seemed like forever ‘til they got the sack
But then came the humans with big heavy boots
Shaking mi foundations right down to mi roots

I’m tired I am, i’m In need of a rest
I’ve given mi all and i’m well past mi best
Mi stones are all loose, mi arches are cracking
And proper maintainance is totally lacking
If it doesn’t come soon and I don’t earn mi keep
I’ll fall down on the job and collapse in a heap
Then i’ll be nothing but a pile of old stones
With more bl—-y humans climbing over mi bones!

Splendid DTease, but I think the old bridge is made of stern stuff.

yes, I think you're right Poet. I daresay it'll see me off.
