If only the council would spend as much on the potholes. The cost of this 1/2 mile stretch must be staggering considering the amount of time, machinery and labour that has been used. Absolute waste of money. Would love them to conduct a cencus on how many cycles use this on a daily basis.

This green path should have been the walkway, so that prams and kids are away from the traffic.

Most Cyclist break every rule in the book when it come to traffic laws.
They ride through red lights, don't have lights at night not even a rear reflector. As a motorist, they can be annoying. But after saying that, Scooter and motorbikes are as bad.

Comment by: Eddiep on 17th June 2018 at 10:13

The two on-coming cars appear to have three axles. I can't make out what's going on.

Difficult to say where Scot lane and Robin Park road merge but I think this is Robin Park road. Been along here this morning.
Looks a ridiculous bit of work.

Alex, when I was learning to drive 45 years ago the best advice that my instructor gave me was "Always defend yourself against other road users". By that he meant never assume that you know what the other guy will do. That was good advice then and it still applies today.
Car drivers are just as bad, if not worse than other road users when it comes to breaking the rules. As for Taxi Drivers, well they seem to think that the rules don't apply to them at all.

Taxi drivers can't drive.
Policemen are bent.
Teachers are thick.
Comedians aren't funny.
Singers can't sing.
Seems like everyone's doing the wrong job.

HGV drivers are as bas too!

Whats the point of a half mile cycle path? Starting abruptly and ending abruptly- no point getting the bike out of the shed in my opinion!

Comment by: Cyril on 17th June 2018 at 14:43

Anne, Robin Park Road and Scot Lane merge at the junction of Montrose Avenue and Anjou Boulevard.

It'll be like the ones along Wigan Lane and Ormskirk Road - unused, I've never ever seen a cyclist using either of them.

Put an hole at the end and it would be excellent for crazy golf.

Alex,when motorists start to
obey traffic lights,so will I.

Comment by: Arthur on 17th June 2018 at 19:24

Veronica only where it's busy.

Comment by: Alan on 17th June 2018 at 19:45

So if they pay tax on scooters and motorbikes, it's ok to flaunt the law is it.

Comment by: Poet on 17th June 2018 at 21:06

That upturned cone. Is that where you chip the golf ball?

Comment by: Kevan on 17th June 2018 at 23:54

Poet, half the roof on the car nearest camera appears to be missing also.
Oh and maybe they will transfer one of the smaller pot holes into the green.

Comment by: Alex on 18th June 2018 at 10:18

That's a silly comment Pete.
