Its a bench you can sit on, its 30 years ago since she went missing.

Not knowing anything about this I looked it up. A tragic story with no end.

They say "every picture tells a story" this is a sad reminder of something that happened sometime ago. RIP Helen.

I feel so sorry and sad for her mother and the rest of her family. Her mum still battles on after all these years still searching for her.

I remember watching the reconstruction of Helen's last-known movements on Crimewatch when my children were young; this makes me realise just how lucky I am to still have them. Helen's Mother has suffered so much over the years.

Really sad, Helen would have been 52 years of age now, it's 30 years ago and her body has never been found. I feel so sorry for all her family and friends. There are some horrible people out there. RIP Helen x.

I recall the trial - in all my years reading this kind of criminal stuff, I have never heard a more ridiculous defence presented for the man who did it. He must be well in his sixties now - needs to man up and say what happened to her body.

Gary, Sick as it is , it is not unusual for killers to hold onto trophies or events and never reveal them. To do so , diminishes their power over that event. They will happily leave the police and families to chase the truth of their dreadful crimes ,no matter how much distress and upset this causes.. Like Brady and Hindley , who always remained in control ( always on their terms) as the family pleaded to reveal . No Gary , this man will never man up, because , like Brady , he holds the truth we want , and that is a huge incentive for these monsters.

And what if he is innocent?

Like he has done since the day she went missing......

One must start to wonder....
