Photo-a-Day (Wednesday, 8th November, 2017)
A walk that would have been impossible a few years ago when the plantations was over run with Rhododendrons.
Well done Wigan council for cutting them back.
Thanks once again Ron for a lovely picture of my favourite place, it brightens up my day [Hope to see some more lovely picture soon]
A beautiful, much-loved season in a beautiful, much-loved place.
No doubt Autumn has the the edge in its colourful display. Can almost hear the shuffling in the leaves.
Mick. I believe the only reason they cut them back was because of disease.
It just happens that somebody as made a video of a pair of feet shuffling through leaves at Worthington Lodge
The ladies add a lot to an already nice Autumn view.
